Daily Duties at Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital :
Fulfilling the role of staff nurse, implementing required standard of care, nursing and facility policies and procedures, while providing optimal patient care. Daily duties include care and education of patients with variety of admission diagnoses ranging from cardiac, renal, orthopedic, and metabolic problems, as well as patients with mental/emotional psychoses. Provided care with the philosophy of “patient satisfaction first” and the approach of above and beyond service. Active part for of the “Back to the Bedside” nursing committee initiative, focused on bringing nursing care closer to the patient/family unit. Formerly, an active member of current facility’s magnet re-certification committees. Active participant of “Team Nursing initiative”; frequently volunteer to fill the position of team nurse leader to meet daily requirements of patient care.
