Daily Duties at D&Sci:
Pull, place, install, terminate, test, and troublshoot CAT 5e/6 twisted pair cable and Fiber Optic single and multi-mode cable. Was assigned to Future Operations that included Network Installers, where I was part of a three person working team that on a daily basis would be issued ticket(s) by the Team Lead to install/fix/correct any problems or issues that would cause the customer not to be able to communicate on either a unsecured or secured network. When there was/is some open time from closing tickets, would work on individual assigned projects. CAT 5e/6 terminations was in accordance with EIA/TIA standards. Testing of fiber optic single and multi-mode cables was conducted on Fluke fiber optic testers. CAT 5e/6 testing conducted on personal testers.
