Daily Duties at Gte / Verizon / Frontier Communications:
Responsibilities include installation, repair and maintenance of pre-premise customer fiber, copper, & WiFi networks. Duties include but not limited to; splice fiber optic cable, installation/repair of 25/200 pair cable, Central Office work, installation of POTS, FiOS, PBX / Key systems, and WiFi Hotspots. Work with customers to achieve full service solution to Video, Data, WiFi, & Telecommunications needs. Project Management, install and maintain MITEL 3000 and 5000 systems, Avaya IPO systems, installation of hard-ware, programming of the phone systems to include POTS / B1 lines, T1/PRI, Broadband modules, VoIP, and Cloud services. Programming, installation, & maintain Layer 3 and/or Layer 2 Switches. Set-up Customer provided equipment and ensure proper functionality of the equipment. Customized on site user training for full Voice/Data/Video/WiFi system delivery.
