Daily Duties at Ch Robinson:
Daily contact with customers of various sizes, building relationships, problem solving and assessing their needs. Solicit new business from shippers, as well as source equipment from more than 45,000 contracted carriers to accommodate each client's needs via truck, rail, ocean liner and air cargo. My role was three-dimensional; it involved buying, selling and customer service. In addition I was responsible in the management of shipper and carrier relationships, Negotiation of rates and the routing of carriers.
