Daily Duties at Walgreens Pharmacy:
Complete any unfinished work from the day shift including filling prescriptions and putting up stock. Complete the "work queue" of auto, internet, and app refills, e-scribe, call-in, and drop-off prescriptions. Re-stock the pharmacy and maintain the "robot" to prepare for the day shift. Responsible for taking and maintaining the monthly inventory for the C II drugs and daily short inventory counts. Return overstock pharmacy inventory. Resolve third party rejections by following a prior authorization process or using proper codes. Improve prescription numbers, store sales, and profit sales by providing extraordinary customer service. Give vaccinations for Infuenza, Pneumonia, Zoster, DTap, and for people traveling out of the country that currently only Walgreens Pharmacist are certified. Provide cholesterol, diabetes, and blood pressure testing. Participate in Medication Therapy Management Program. Compound prescriptions.
