Daily Duties at Peabody Energy:
Assumed role to elevate the procurement function for the Western US department. Direct the procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain cost reduction initiatives for Western U.S. surface mining operations and global information technology department; manage a team of 14 individuals covering Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Manage spend for the mines in excess of $800M. Established and deliver on expected savings targets, manage procurement KPIs (developed to review suppliers, contracts, and key spend categories)
