Daily Duties at Stock And Associates:

Responsible for the design of civil construction plans for commercial projects including design of site layout, site grading, storm water management design, and SWPPP design. Formulate design of civil systems including underground utilities, paving, grading, and drainage for medium to large scale projects of varying complexity. Complete data analysis for conceptual planning and design, prepare design drawings and specifications, complete hydraulic analyses and modeling, and solve process design problems as required. Accountable for seeing various project phases through to completion, including preliminary design, final design and permitting. Resolve engineering problems and adapt approved engineering methods and standards to the planning, design and construction of a variety of projects. Prepare a variety of engineering research and administrative materials; develop correspondence, records, and comprehensive reports. Attend city meetings, client meetings, public hearing presentation and responsible for coordination of design team.
