Staff Development, staff recruitment, business development, marketing, develop and maintain client relationships, client presentation of services and information training, quality assurance/quality control, manage allocation of staffing resources both in local office and regional offices, proposals, working with regional offices, lead team of designers, engineers and project managers in land development, higher education and governmental projects, mentor staff, prospective employee interviews, hiring, performance reviews, performance related issues, develop and monitor project budgets and schedules, firm strategic planning, develop design standards and practices, develop and implement departmental procedures, policies and software evaluation and implementation, staff training, permitting agency coordination and negotiating for construction plan approval, departmental reporting weekly and monthly, departmental planning and year end overall department reviews, company presentations, shareholder responsibilities, meetings, reporting, lead and participate in company development committees, monitoring workload and production trends, coordinates directing with executive management on production trends, staffing needs, personnel concerns, routinely coordinating with other departments to coordinate staffing, future project demands, proposals and business development, public hearing presentations, travel, direct coordination and interaction high level design team members and owners, invoicing, contract management.
