Daily Duties at Walgreens:
Process and accurately dispense prescription medications, counsel patients and customers concerning prescriptions and OTC products, ensure security of patient specific information (HIPPA), ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. As manager, supervise and train staff pharmacists, technicians and interns, including involvement in hiring of technicians and pharmacy cashiers. As pharmacist, assist manager in these duties. As manager, monitor and drive sales and profit of pharmacy through control of inventory, payroll and OTC products. Communicate flow of information to manager staff, store management and district supervisor.
