Daily Duties at Ibm:
Provide operational support for the web-hosting environment for over 2,000 web and database servers running Windows NT and 2000, Unix, Sun, Aix and Linux. Remotely connected via SSH, Terminal Services, and Carbon Copy to maintain file system integrity, restart process, maintain userids, and other related functions. Interface with Customer Contacts via telephone and email, logging problem tickets and support requests, maintaining communication with System Administrators. Customer Service Call Center, Supported internal IBM mainframe computer applications and processes. Troubleshooted LAN printer use and problem solution determination. Customer Service, telephone and email support for applications including VM and MVS applications, Lotus Notes, Lotus SmartSuite, Exceed, Personal Communications, TCPIP Configurations, and Network Problem Analysis.
