Daily Duties at Linked In:

hands-on Program Manager to oversee both the upgrade of existing and the build-out of new offices worldwide. Asked you review processes and procedures and make improvements. The candidate will work closely with the Facilities and Production Operations departments in order to stay in lock-step with the numerous simultaneous build-outs occurring at any given time. The candidate must have a solid technical understanding of information technology and how it's integrated with physical office space and data centers. • Manage, prioritize, schedule, budget and manage multiple simultaneous GTS/facility build-out projects at once with a cross functional team from Facilities, and Production Operations. • Attend and contribute to a significant number of weekly meetings with the facilities team,architects, and general contractors as a the representative of GTS. • Foster relationships with subcontractors such as structured cabling and A/V vendors, circuit providers, copier vendors. • Stay on top of city and country-specific construction codes as it relates to GTS systems such as wiring, anchoring of racks. • Create and maintain detailed documentation about each office, including cable runs, server rooms, MDFs, IDFs, MPOEs. • Travel domestically and internationally to personally oversee projects and ensure the first day of business date is met. Note: this will be up to 30%. • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of VoIP telecom systems, network and video conferencing systems. • Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
