Daily Duties at Rudd's Transfer And Storage, Inc., Agent For Atlas Van Lines, Inc.:

At Rudd’s Transfer and Storage, I reported directly to the company President, and was responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company, including G/L, financial reporting, budgeting, job costing, A/R, A/P, Payroll, account reconciliation and bank reconciliations. I managed the company assets, including leases and acquisitions, property tax reporting, as well as application and maintenance of all company taxes and licenses. I managed an office of 4-6 people, including HR duties (hiring, pre/post-employment reviews) ordering of office supplies and equipment. I also managed insurance renewals, customer claims company safety, regulatory compliance and loss control. At the time I was a Notary Public for the State of California to service customers needing a notary for shipping documentation. Finally I was the liaison to the external CPA for filing of Federal and State tax returns.
