Daily Duties at Merck:
Lead, trained and coached 9 Multi Specialty Vaccine Customer representatives in implementing national tactical plans and brand strategies to improve vaccination rates and deliver results. Area managed included state of Louisiana and East Texas which delivered over $60 million in sales in 2013. Primary vaccines accountable for included: Zostavax®, Gardasil® (working with Oncologists, Primary Care and Pediatricians), Pneumovax 23®, and rest of vaccine portfolio. • As the district leader worked with Top Ten accounts, implemented Customer Centric Selling model with team, worked with representatives on improving and enhancing their competencies, made sure customers aligned to correct contract, managed numerous budgets, HR processes, coached on the use of analytic tools, monitored sales trends and worked with account executives on Tier 1 accounts • Served as point manager for Zostavax® and Gardasil® for region and helped develop national tactical plans and monitored execution and progress. • From 2004-2005, managed a Group B team that was responsible for Vioxx®, Zocor®, and Maxalt®. Served on National strategy team as point manager for Zocor®. • In addition to pull through of national strategies and other leadership responsibilities, coached reps to work with customers to educate and treat patients on field visits as player/coach.
