Daily Duties at Thyssen Krupp Materials Na, Inc:
Provide technology leadership to several business units as part of an overall strategy to ensure superior returns are gained from IT investments through partnering with leadership teams. Create strong partnerships between IT and business units via a consultative approach in the development of strategies to deliver competitive advantage through the best use of technology. Established IT Steering Committees consisting of business unit presidents, VP, CFO, and key managers. Manage business unit portfolio of projects. Determine project ROI and affect on P&L. Vendor management, develop and evaluate RFPs when necessary, conduct negotiations with vendors. Responsible for all management aspects on IT projects including on-time delivery, budget, resource allocations and all IT communications with customers. Direct all LEAN initiatives. Coordinated EDI implementations and modifications.
