Daily Duties at Traylor Brothers, Ihnc Project. :
Organized and performed orientations and trained new employees in the hazards of Heavy Civil Marine Construction. This included creating multiple company training documents and books for both parent company, as well as, subcontractors on site Responsible for maritime standard compliance for the largest USACE public works project in history Structural code compliance with floating structures (SPCC) Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plan design and upkeep as well as hazardous spill cleanup in environmentally sensitive areas Performed on site drug testing and kept records Daily review of AHA and JSA as well as critical lift plans OSHA / EPA standards and compliance as well as standard enforcement Led US Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 compliance audits and reviews Managed and led daily safety briefings and reports with management and contractors Performed Incident investigations as well as detailed reenactments for internal company training purposes and review. Performed hundreds of confined space operations and atmosphere testing as well as on site rescue training Daily dialog with safety professionals and engineers in both private and public sectors Managed Lifesaving equipment and all calibration requirements. Crane inspections and standards compliance in 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 as well ANSI B30.5 Organized training classes and led the efforts for management to receive CCO training Successfully maintained MSD information and managed all Right to Know documents. This also included Decontamination Line and IC HAZCOM training Completed hands on Process studies of specifically hazardous operations for the USCE Led job wide safety meetings as well as stretch and flex exercises
