Daily Duties at Terremark Worldwide:

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Business Development will be responsible for the overall management of the Company’s federal business development organization. This includes identification, research, qualification, and capture of long-term projects, programs, and services opportunities in targeted accounts within the federal government. Individual will be responsible for achieving or exceeding the company’s target services and solutions bookings and revenue annually. Responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying opportunities, assisting in developing capture strategies, conducting competitive analysis, customer contacts, managing the capture and proposal process, preparation of bid-to-win strategies, managing B&P costs and keeping the executive management team . Develop short- and long-term business development strategies in support of the overall business and organizational objectives. • Provide direction and technical advice to operating management to identify and prioritize potential markets, customers and business opportunities. • Manage and deploy BD Managers in alignment with operations, including supervision, training, strategizing, goal setting and measurement, etc. • Identify and pursue new markets and business opportunities in support of strategic objectives. • Participate in the preparation and implementation of the organization’s business plan, including revenue forecasting, targeted markets and customers, competitors, etc. • Develop and maintain target accounts which have the potential to provide for large numbers of inquiries and profitable sales revenues, including developing and maintaining account plans for major clients.
