Program direction, participation in events , medical service to the horse community. Hiring retention and firing of employees. Compliance with IRS and INS regulations and representing the farm in any audit situation (successfully). Scheduling show activities including transportation, lodging, stalling and feed, and any necessary payments. Breaking and training yearling horses to be shown by professional trainer in hand. Foaling of newborn animals. Worked cooperatively with Colorado State U veterinary school to establish and maintain an animal health program. Supervised contacts with outside trainers and farms re horse purchases and sales. Supervised the semen transport program. Developed and maintained a consultation service re rider health issues. Organized a successful sale of the farm property and animals in 2005.
