Daily Duties at Greene, Tweed & Co.:
Work in a R&D, prototype, pre-production machine shop. Set-up and run Mori Seiki Lathes( live tooling, twin spindle, Y axis ) and mills. prove-out, edit, make recommendations to improve programs and make process improvements. machine experimental materials and parts, hold exacting tolerances <.0005 inch, inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, CMM and other metrology to insure quality. preform any other machine shop related tasks as needed.
