Daily Duties at Simi Valley Hospital:
Performed and proctored unit-specific in-services and other departments in the organization. Implemented and modified unit policies and procedures. Performed relief charge nurse duties. Recovered pediatric and adult, including but not limited to, orthopedic, urology, ophthalmology, head & neck, spine, podiatry, ENT, GYN, neurosurgery, ACID and pacemaker, and general surgery patients and C-section patients. Performed pre-operative telephone patient assessments and collect pre-operative tests and information for chart prior to surgery. Provide procedural sedation for Cardioversions, TEEs, and Brochoscopies. Assist with Treadmills, Tilt Table Tests, and Adenosine and Dobutamine Stress Tests. Transported in-patients for MRI procedure at the Aspen Surgery Center.
