Daily Duties at Cvs Health:
• Utilizes training and educational knowledge to process prescriptions efficiently for patients • Verifies prescriptions to ensure the correct medication and proper dosage is dispensed • Reviews patient profiles to identify and prevent potential drug interactions • Counsels and advises patients on proper medication use, side effects, drug interactions, and storage • Analyzes billing issues derived from processed insurance claims and develops “patient-first” solutions • Recommends over-the-counter remedies and cost-saving alternatives to patients • Administers immunizations for patients to fight against diseases • Supervises pharmacy staff and delegates assignments to promote cohesive and synergistic teamwork • Manages and maintains inventory by purchasing new stock and removing expired drugs
