Support Supply Chain Operations group in all aspects of planning and analysis to include imports department, warehouse and domestic transportation operations, and After Sales Service teams. • Responsible for working with various business partners in developing annual budget, forecasting, and variance commentary, for $50M of variable and fixed expenses relating to consumer white goods and electronics. • Prepare and coordinate monthly forecasts from business lines and include financial narrative on significant variances. Trained and collaborated with China Headquarter liaison on all aspects of the forecast and month end close. • Publish monthly cost center results to department heads and documenting any potential risks. • Analyze monthly Income Statement for operational performance relating to fixed and variable expenses and provide variance analysis to identify cost drivers compared to the budget, forecast, and prior year for 3 business units and 10 product lines. Alert senior management of any potential operational risks. • Provide senior management with financial models and analysis to support key initiatives. Developed and presented detailed cost analysis on warehouse operations. Provide ROI analysis when changing over to new vendors. • Participate in the month end closing activities by preparing, reviewing, and processing accruals and other adjustments required and ensure all estimates are following correct accounting principles. • Approve, review, and audit all invoices submitted by the business relating to supply chain operations and ensure all procurement and accounting policies are being followed.
