Daily Duties at Thermo Fisher Scientific:

Provide global product management and technical training support for the service and calibration of customer owned instruments and service center locations in NA, EU, and APAC. Research the global service market and write marketing based content, brochures, work instructions, procedures, and training presentations. Conduct extensive research into the service market. Develop market plans, roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and creative briefs; web based content, brochures, work instructions, and procedures. Trainings and procedures are geared to an ISO, FDA, and GMP environments. Lead high-level meetings with executive management in the areas of AOP, service budget, service markets, service business plans, strategies and tactics. Design, coordinate, provide training, and launch a unified global service program for NA, EU, and APAC. Provide various training sessions for customers, clients, & internal sales personnel. My secondary responsibilities include: Research, plan, develop, and launch a recycling program for service. Partner with global sales personnel in creating useful cheat sheets and customer-facing documents that can be used to promote service. Collaborate with global colleagues in a Matrix organizational environment in landing new service accounts. This includes RFP’s, SLA’s, business plans, conference calls, and determining scope of profitability. Leverage global service locations and key contacts to grow product sales through the back door of service. This includes review of service database, product equipment owned by customers, age of equipment, and failure rates. Provide product recommendations and lower total cost of ownership
