Daily Duties at United Healthgroup:

Advise and counsel others on medical, dental, vision, and prescription health coverage’s for United Health Group and NY State. Provide daily member education and member servicing; enroll and sign prospective clients/members for health insurance programs. Make group and individual presentations and maintain compliance with HIPAA privacy law. Continuously assess target markets and propose marketing strategies while networking through existing client accounts for sustained business growth. Address and resolve any customer service or account issues; generate weekly tracking report for management. Train, coach, and motivate sales team and served as a valued resource liaison on all programs, products, and servicing.• Consistently met daily goals for new members and weekly targets for accurately and timely completion of applications; improved productivity of member enrollments by 20% and year-to-date personally enrolled 400 out of 440 members. • Established and maintained positive business relationships with several community organizations in New York and rapidly expanded network through marketing and communications on requirements for Health Insurance with the Affordable Care Act. • Self-taught on new system for applications processing known as “Marketplace” and instructed others on systems usage; recognized as ‘go to’ person for any technical issues with usage. • Took on additional work for Arab Site location in absence of regular staff member; demonstrated keen knowledge of this culture and communicated in Arabic to this customer base; quickly became entrusted by these persons while meeting 100% of goal. • Identified glitch in reporting from all representatives that was showing inaccuracies for enrollment numbers; set-up a back-up plan that reflected up-to-date and accurate information for management via the Medicaid website. • Made successful presentations to large groups on products presented by United Health Group on behalf of New York State; educated audiences on requirements, benefits, and appointment set-up. • Received highest annual raise in 3/2014 due to outstanding work performance and up to a 3% bonus every quarter for same.
