Daily Duties at California Psychological Associates:
I saw patients at this office in individual and group sessions, once a week when not seeing clients at the Wilshire Valley Therapy Center. On average, each week I saw 6-9 individuals and moderated groups ranging in size from 4 to 20. Once in possession of the initial assessments and treatment plans (performed by the psychiatrist and psychologist), I continued ongoing assessments of urgency of patients' needs, and for any risk factors such as danger to self or others. Integrated elements of different treatment modalities to maximize benefits to patients. Made recommendations to patients of supplemental community resources such as AA, Ala-Non, or socialization opportunities. Submitted progress notes on timely basis. Was available for case consultation with other professionals on team as needed.
