Daily Duties at Fleming Foods:

Responsible for purchasing grocery food items to stock our distribution center, coordinating the receipt of shipments from manufacturers and the distribution of orders to retail stores and owners. Worked closely with vendors and sales team to assure shipments were timely and inventory in stock for need at hand. Maintained inventory control in the database system, tracking new products, pricing, units of measure and volume of product for forthcoming breaking weekly grocery ads of more than 100 independent retail stores.
