Daily Duties at Ford Audio Video :
Corporate HQ Office in Oklahoma City, supporting six divisions of approximately 150 sales, project management and engineering colleagues in outlying states. Managed and trained twenty staff members in the corporate office to include purchasing, accounting, job accounting, payroll, travel and inventory control. Worked directly with the company owners to establish company policies and the management of day-to-day business which involved project management for high profile design/build audio video jobs across the U.S. Established vendor partnerships and contracts. Managed monthly purchases, payments and customer progress billings between $2 – 5 million dollars. Responsible for personally negotiating purchases exceeding $25,000 and coaching and approving the buyer negotiations for all other acquisitions. Managed and billed all rebates, MDF monies, spiffs, trips, free goods and the negotiation of restock fees. Implemented and managed the GSA contract. Managed inventory and inventory control. Some projects purchased and negotiated included House of Representatives, Homeland Security, Denver Broncos Stadium, Memphis Grizzlies Stadium, Northrop Grumman War Room, Honolulu Airport, DFW Airport, Houston and Denver Airport.
