Daily Duties at Copper Basin Family Medicine :

Providing primary medical care for office patients with acute and chronic medical problems. Performing physical assessments on patients with histories of chronic and acute illnesses. Establishing care with new patients, obtaining health histories. Providing follow up visits on patient’s status post hospital admission or ER visits. Providing acute care management/plans for patients with acute emergency problems. Chronic care visits for patients with chronic care problems. Duties include ordering medications appropriately, medication administration both oral and IM. Ordering routine and acute labs, and procedures. Diagnosing new medical conditions, and troubleshooting acute medical incidents. Administering oxygen or SVN treatments as needed. Other duties include minor surgical procedure such as removing moles, toenails, and acute procedures such as suturing acute lacerations setting broken bones and attending to other injuries.
