Daily Duties at Stor It Distribution Fzco:

1. Provide strategic & tactical services to Clients in areas relating to the application, reliability, scalability, security and performance. Understanding & implementing the full project life cycle by gathering the business requirements, coordinating with Vendors, discussing with stakeholders, creation and discussion on change requests, designing architecture diagrams, framing business continuity & disaster recovery plans, conducting DR tests, stabilizing the IT environment, knowledge transfer and training to Data Center operations center team. 2. Focus on building corporate competencies and providing strategic direction, engaged in RFP bidding, providing technical compliance, solution description and cost analysis and identified, quantified and communicated non-standard costs, risks to bids and developed risk mitigation strategies. Built strong partnerships with internal & external stakeholders; inculcated environment of mutual cooperation and cultivated strong network. 3. Handle the multiple projects for clients in vertical industries like Government, Oil & Gas, Finance, Banking, Media, Insurance, Real estate, Healthcare & Education, provided hands on experience in integrating the Server consolidation program through use of VMware ESX Server 5.5 and vCenter 5.5 that architected and spearheaded virtualization program and reduced number of data centers from 9 to 1. 4. Responsibilities includes end to end support of EMC-VNX, EMC-VMAX, EMC-ISILON, & DDN storages for Storage Designing, Storage provisioning based on the customer’s requirements, performing maintenance activity (viz., Firmware’s upgrades, Hardware replacement etc.,). Played key role in creating documentation and technical guides for end users by facilitating the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that all errors were tracked and reported to development and management teams
