- In charge of the safety organization of 12 engineers to supervise 6 contractors and 30 sub-contractors and suppliers with 4000 workers constructing a gas pipeline of 36” and 472 km long, and the 3 engineer’s safety offshore team during the pipeline installation at open sea 3 year. In addition, Established performance goals to measure safety program effectiveness based on preventive actions. Coordinated the Accident Investigation Team, using cause and effect quality tool to investigate accidents. Responsible for creating the annual safety budget of $500K. Pioneered a project progress reporting using quality tools for better and easier understanding. Recapped safety annual results including displays analysis for the Project General Management. Also, conducted regular coaching meetings with the Safety Division in order to build safety skills. In addition, organized all hiring and training of personnel involved in the safety division based on criteria agreed upon by senior management, and organizing in-house health & safety schedule training for managers and employees with a bimonthly and semiannual frequency. Furthermore, identifying hazardous conditions and practices with the safety team in all the workplaces. Closely examined and approved contracts company’s safety programs, safety procedures, and results. On the other hand, in charge of the installation a pipeline gas 20 miles long with a budget of $6MM, and 500 workers supervised by a team of 7 engineers. It was a project of great difficulty through mountains, rivers and land of difficult access. Conducted regular meetings with contractors in order to meet deadlines.
