Daily Duties at Imagine Communications:

Manage Broadcast projects in the Latin America Region that added up to 50 million dollars in the FY09. Build a team of engineers based on different countries in the region, to better support the customers from support assistance to project implementation and training. The team went from 5 engineers in 2008 reporting to different managers and having their own processes to 10 engineers in 2009, reporting all to me with standardized processes. Manage support efforts in the Latin America region for all the broadcast systems the company manufactures: transmissions, video servers & news, graphics, networking, video processing and distribution, automation and test & measurement. Used systems thinking to proactively identify the proper course of action when issues were reported by customers or to mitigate Project Management risks that would affect the deliverables. Manage Project budgets and provide financial updates for quarterly revenue recognition.

What they like about Imagine Communications:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
