Daily Duties at Wind Jammer:
Safe transportation of over-sized and super loads Collaborate with other drivers as part of a driving team Read bills of lading to determine assignment details. Steer/Transportation of wind turbine blades Provided safe transportation and secure operation of mechanical equipment, safety and emergency equipment Followed rules and regulations, provided smooth interaction with computers, radios, and other equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes. Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks Remotely guide and steer back end of trailer carrying the wind turbine blade with precision to avoid traffic, pedestrians, and buildings etc Operation of equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones, to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
