Spearheaded a major reorganization of the fund’s $8 billion private equity program. Evaluated and annually updated private equity strategic and tactical investment plans, securing Board of Investments approval for 2007 - 2010 plans. Conducted extensive due diligence in areas such as: investment company and portfolio manager’s backgrounds, investment strategy, and potential information asymmetries / competitive advantages; evaluated investment performance; and performed attribution and valuation analyses.
