Daily Duties at Xerox Corporation:

Managed electronics systems design and development teams for Xerox’s flagship high speed, high resolution, and full color iGen3 and iGen4 family of products. • Led all phases of product’s electronics system development from generating specification, design and development, through transition to manufacturing; accountable for resources, cost, schedule, functional performance and regulatory compliance; continually exceeding expectations. • Provided direct technical contribution, managed teams of 20-30 engineers, and coordinated the functions of approx. 50 people with support functions across organizations on multiple projects. • Spearheaded the transformation of the organization into a complete electronic solutions provider, including boards, FPGA, SOC, algorithms, intellectual property and embedded software development. Led the organization in achieving 13 US patents. • Salvaged a failing and highly visible Fax Module development project contracted to an outside vendor. Enhanced the architecture, developed SOC and turned it into a highly utilized module in multiple products. • Incorporated Lean Six Sigma methodology, achieving first pass success in product delivery, and reducing manufacturing errors by 90%. • Organized the functions of cross-functional teams to achieve inter-disciplinary goals by concurrent engineering and streamlining sub-processes, resulting in shorter development time and reduced cost. • Advocated collaboration among product teams across United States, Europe and Japan and succeeded in developing common architecture across products to reduce time to market.
