Daily Duties at Pfizer:

Introduced & led implementation of GMP/GDP/GLP concepts and Quality Systems at ~50 sites that paved the way to improve compliance & ensured product quality/patient safety. Designed & drove improvements for Quality Systems and Culture to ensure facilities were Inspection Ready & had value added operations. Safeguarded quality for ~$10B of product that reduced customer complaints. Developed & implemented Strategic Quality Plans and Performance Monitoring Metrics that allowed for Management Review to bring order and eliminate ‘ad hoc’ governance. Managed continuous improvement & operational excellence projects using LEAN and Six Sigma principles that led to improved efficiencies. Created a Quality Vision and advanced the Quality Culture that drove improved employee moral and camaraderie. Managed Audit Program including risk assessments that increased compliance and led to more robust systems and processes. Developed & implemented shipping solutions for Cold Chain that reduced costs and improved customer service and product shipping. Authored GMP Polices/Procedures that drove standardization of systems & processes across the globe. Built & implemented Quality Agreements that led to improved Quality Systems, operating efficiencies, and management oversight. Created & implemented Quality Systems for packaging/labeling operations for international markets that drove increased product availability and compliance. Worked with R&D and developed technical transfer programs to ensure new products/processes were robust and successfully launched. Directed technical transfer activities to consolidate, integrate, and outsource operations that reduced costs and complexity in multiple domestic and international markets.
