Daily Duties at Sandman Beach Cleaning Services:
To drive the tractor and surf rake from the warehouse location to the designated beach that I was cleaning that day. Once on the beach it was my job to safely and efficiently clean and groom the beaches from the hours of 5:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and then return to warehouse. Once returned, I dumped my load into the dumpster, refueled, rinsed machine and tractor, and did any necessary repairs and maintenance to the machine. After completing the tractor duties I would hope in the truck and hook up landscape trailer, drive to one of the ten properties I was responsible for. Once at the location I would fuel up equipment and begin mowing on a 48' ride behind mower, mow the property, next pull out weed eater and weed eat property, then the stick edger and edge the property, then the blower and blow the property. After all that was finished I walked the property and pick up any trash and pulled any big weeds while I was spraying weed killer. Fixed any busted irrigation if I ran across it. Also twice a year would put down fresh pine straw for all the flower beds on the property, and tuck the edges in for a professional look. Built flower beds from cut timbers for unique look. After tropical storms and hurricanes some properties were destroyed and were in need of restoration. Brought in thousands of yards of cubic sand to build up the dunes, replaced sand fencing to help build dunes back, planted sea oats, and numerous other vegetation that would thrive in the sandy environment, replaced and laid new irrigation systems for hydration of plants and stability on the sand dunes.
