Daily Duties at Alert Logic:
• Developed and maintained a plan to expedite deployment of our appliances to the client from point of sale, configuration, shipping, and installation at the client's office. • Served as a point of contact for clients in the initial phase of deployment: scheduled deployment times, ensured they had the proper equipment needed for installation, and assigned and monitored the progress of the analyst responsible for the tuning process, and the unit transporting events. • Designed, procured, and coordinated the move of our backend networking equipment and the installation of new equipment ensuring that we were down for only 30 min. In this time we configured a new redundant power system, moved over 15 servers and installed an additional 15 units, and added redundancy to the entire infrastructure. • Exposed to database development and the principles of creating relational databases, informational based systems, and object oriented data bases; including setting up tables and an understanding of queries. • Developed relationships with hardware vendors to produce our units in greater numbers to reduce operating costs by 35%.
