Daily Duties at Philadelphia Mental Health Care Corporation:
As a Forensic Specialist, collaborate within a Mandated Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT). Using a client-centered approach, provide service to those individuals with the most saver persistent mental health judicial issues. Advocate for participants who present the greatest degree of symptomatology as evidenced by their multiple physical, psychiatric, and legal conditions, extensive use of services, and lack of follow through with treatment. Provide Forensic Case Management support in collaboration with the Community Support Programs of the City of Philadelphia. In collaboration with the Philadelphia Judicial Court System, identify goals, and develop and implement tailored service treatment plans that best support our participants’ recovery.
