Daily Duties at Drs Consolidated Controls:
Principal Manufacturing Engineer - My primary responsibility is to drive change in the manufacturing process. Re-engineered the Harness Manufacturing Process to reduce direct labor hrs. and support the manufacture of shipboard power control systems. the products Include PNI (Primary Nuclear Instrumentation) cabinets, EPCP (Electric Plant Control Panel), PPCP (Propulsion Plant Control Panel), RLC (Reactor Local Control cabinet). Provide instruction and training to assembly personnel. Act as a change agent to move the company toward current harness manufacturing and quality practices. Developed manufacturing documentation to aid in the manufacturing of complex electrical and electronic assemblies. Development of complex harness form boards in both 2D and 3D format.
