Daily Duties at University Of North Texas:
➢ Established the structure-property relations of laser processed Mg-Y-Nd alloy using micro-hardness measurement. ➢ Studied stress induced precipitation evolution in a binary Mg-Nd alloy under creep test using transmission electron microscopy. ➢ Investigated dynamic recovery and precipitation occurred during hot rolling and subsequent ageing lead to formation of a unique honeycomb network of precipitates in WE 43 alloy. ➢ Studied the formation of β1 precipitates through dynamic nucleation on dislocation and facilitates β’ precipitates formation in Mg-0.5 at % Nd alloy under creep and isothermally annealed condition. ➢ Analysed the micro-texture evolution during the friction stir processing and subsequent ageing in Mg-Y-Nd alloy.
