Doctors Hospital Work Values

Daily Duties at Doctors Hospital:

 Provide general nursing care to patients in the hospital (IV’s, venipuncture, dressing changes, nasogastric tubes, wound vacs, tracheostomy care, etc).  Administered prescribed medications and treatments using proper nursing techniques.  Prepared equipment and aided Physician during treatments and examination of patients.  Completed shift assessments per patient.  Multidisciplinary approach to patient care- observing, recording, significant conditions and reactions to various treatments, medications, or immediate changes, notifying Physician and/or supervisor as needed.  Rotated to various clinical services within the hospital depending on staffing needs.  Prepared rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and/or supplies for Physician or other medical practitioner as needed.
