SENIOR IT SERVICES MANAGER Provide leadership for application management and customer service teams (17 staff). Project/Portfolio Management: • Implemented Systems Development Lifecycle methodology. • Created and directed the Project Management Office. • Created 3 year roadmaps for Corporate Systems and managed resource allocation. • Continuously evaluated and improved project management processes. • Organized annual PM Summit to provide continuing education on project management skills for 30 project managers and management staff. • Established the CIO Dashboard and managed the CIO Top 20 projects Application Management: • Managed the IT Project Portfolio and led IT Governance process for prioritizing IT investments for the corporate and manufacturing applications portfolios (38 systems). • Managed 23 corporate applications including Financial, HR, Payroll, Legal, Tax, Employee Portal (SharePoint), Integration Services, and Governance, Risk & Compliance. • Managed 15 manufacturing applications supporting $400 million wood products manufacturing segment of the business – including Mill Maintenance, Fiber Acquisition & Management, Sales Order & Inventory Management and Production Reporting. • Actively cultivated relationships with business stakeholders. • Encouraged teamwork and collaboration across IT departments. • Conducted quarterly self assessments of IT General Controls. Service Center Management: • Led Service Center team supporting 1300 employees across 15 states. • Implemented IT Service Management (using ServiceNow) which included Incident Management, Self-service Portal, Change Management, Service Transition, and Knowledge Base. ITIL v3 certified. • Managed hardware refresh and OS/MS Office upgrade. • Continuously evaluated and improved quality of service.
