Daily Duties at Noxen Bible Baptist Church:

My responsibilities were various in that as a solo pastor I was responsible for every aspect of the property and plant operations. This includes project management of maintenance (regular and emergency), lawn care, house cleaning, construction and upgrade projects, budgeting, financial oversight, fund raising, message preparation and presentation in four services per week (all different), counseling, problem and people management, conflict management and resolution and in-house and public communications (both written and oral). I also have the responsibility of dealing with contractors, outside speakers, attorneys and various public liaisons as needed. Accomplishments: Attendance has increased and stabilized. Finances have stabilized at a sufficient level. I established an annual community event which was a day long festivity bringing in outside entertainment and several speakers. Games, activities, entertainment and food was provided for all ages. I served as the Vice President on the board of directors for the Noxen Ambulance association, secretary for the zoning commission, and various offices within the Endless Mountains Pastors Fellowship. I also acquired my certification as an EMT. Responsibilities: Public speaking, four one hour services per week. These are one hour sales pitches.
