Daily Duties at Aristocrat Technologies:

I was promoted from my prior role of product manager to manage four product managers to meet ongoing customer product requirements for two core product lines: slot machines and systems (casino accounting and marketing) in the Americas. I reported to the VP of Marketing and reported weekly on the progress of product output, hardware projects, and regulatory status of product approvals from the product management perspective. On the business development side, I reported on new market possibilities, large potential contracts, RFPs’ status, game development concepts, possible brand licenses being considered or the status of negotiations. I met weekly with two different engineering groups to evaluate progress, prepare to schedule products on the product roadmaps, and begin the pre-launch Marketing efforts. I prepared and extensively discussed product and market strategies with the VP of Sales and the VP of Marketing. I was responsible for strategy development and communicating strategy through the execution stages. I was responsible for product life cycle management and ensuring launch and end of life plans were effectively communicated, executed, and supported internally and externally to the marketplace and customers. During my tenure, I put in place two major end of life plans, and simultaneous product launch of replacement products. I met with product managers weekly to ensure the timeliness of executing on the product roadmaps, and to make adjustments where necessary. I would communicate any significant scheduling roadmap adjustments across the relevant groups in the organization. I met with customers on new and pending product releases for their input. From these meetings, we might set up a focused launch to one or several of the customer’s casino properties
