Daily Duties at Life Scan Inc.:

Position required selling both consumer and hospital blood glucose systems and ancillary products. Hospital bedside testing sales, required in servicing nursing staff, certifying hospital trainers, as well as negotiating and implementing contracts. We called on Administrators, Lab supervisors, Endocrinologists, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Obstetricians, Hospital Educators, and Pharmacies for recommendations for blood glucose monitoring strips and equipment for Diabetic patients. Prescriptions were required for patient products, so understanding reimbursement for medical benefits was a key to meeting sales goals.
