Daily Duties at Attard Electric / Attard Building Inc:

Management of 18 full time employees. Ran between 30-40 projects at time in my peak ranging from $500,000.00 to $10,000.00 each. I walked on projects with super and disguised future work, time frame on completion, demands of clients needs etc. I do all the estimating go through every electrical drawing personally. I put workers together who compliment each other and work well one another. I am up at 5 am on the road usually shortly after home usually back home after 7.30 pm. My day is to visit as many jobs as possible and occassionaly I strap on the tools and help if necessary. I try to order materials for all the jobs and even layout projects or help with it.Cost efficiency and control was a key to larger profit margins. I demanded a lot from my workers but I had very good commuincator and have a good compensation plan set up for the foreman and fellow workers.Quality control and doing work correctly the first time is what I demanded. Passed all inspections and no wasted energy was not tolerated. I always gave my time after hrs and helped by guidance and taking the time to listen and even teach if needed to some individuals who were taking classes or having trouble on the job . Character is very important to me ex work ethic, non smokers, cell phone use, proper work entire, manners even in construction! I personal showed it by example shoveling, bending conduit, pulling wire etc etc. Every person is different my 100% is different to 18 employees in my Company, but every one is loyal and responsible and give me their 100% that is all I can ask. I did police back ground checks, drug testing, I did the hiring and dismal as well. In past 14 yrs over 100 persons came and went. I worked 7 days a week and long hrs. I self motivated and self driven leader who does what it takes to get the job completed and done well and customer is satisfied! I personal like to see others grow and achieve their dreams, I FEEL GREAT AS PERSON TO HELP OTHERS MOVE ON TO THEIR OWN Company and succeed. I was told to my face you are not a typical business owner! My response is this is my family! My door is open and here to help!
