Daily Duties at Transact Technologies:
I was hired to manage B2B clients, Distributors, and Sales team in the land-based casino business across North and South America. I reported to the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. My direct was responsibility was the revenue generated by the Gaming division, an approximate $25m business. I generated sales revenue through three basic channels: distributors, a sales team, and direct calls to OEM partners. I had daily calls with three outside sales executives who visited with OEMs and casinos across North America. We jointly evaluated markets and established sales strategies as new properties were planning to open and as we planned new product releases. Forecasts were established annually and adjusted monthly based on. I proposed Sales and Marketing campaigns to Senior VP of Marketing & Sales. I traveled to meet customers about 50% of the time with the Sales executives and distributors. We had three distributors: one for parts of North America, one for the Caribbean/Central America and one for South America. I was responsible for managing the relationships, negotiating prices, generating sales, and supporting their markets from an executive level. I would provide updates on weekly Sales activity to the Senior VP of Marketing and Sales. I was responsible for gathering and reporting competitive intelligence, customer and OEM needs analysis, and reporting to R&D on product requirements. I was the company representative at the organization of the Gaming Standards Association and also fulfilled the role of Treasurer of the association.
