Daily Duties at Pennsylvania Municipal League:
Handled all fiscal affairs of the organization and oversaw its contracted financial services, including 3 state-wide insurance trusts and 2 associations operating throughout Pennsylvania. Oversaw AP/AR, fixed assets, payroll/benefits processing, general ledger, taxation, regulatory compliance, cost control, cash flow, reporting and all other accounting functions. Conducted in-depth financial research and strategic planning. Prepared monthly/annual management reports and comparative analysis. Coordinated with private auditors to complete financial audits; generated detailed quarterly financial statements and ad hoc reports for governing boards of each association and trust. Collaborated with management and administrative personnel of each entity to develop a capital expenditure plan, as well as individual annual budgets with a combined total of $25M.
