Daily Duties at Memorial Healthcare System:
My day-to-day responsibilities consisted of: • Monitor and maintain the stability of over 450 servers, physical and virtual, using HP SMS, MOM/SCOM, completed this. • Speak with vendors and customers regarding troubleshooting and break fixes. • Assisted system analyst and department leaders with troubleshooting critical issues that needed immediate assistance. This always involved multiple department and vendor communication. • Assist with project assessments and verify quotes, parts and labor have been added accordingly. • Documenting all issues that arise and create a local knowledge base of issues that have been resolved for each individual department. Each department leader was given the documentation I was able to generate. • Documented all items in inventory with detailed information such as make and model of devise, asset tag information, warranty information, repair history and location of devises. • Tasked with finding cheaper and better alternatives to monitor all devises such as computers, servers, hand and held devises. • Met weekly with software analyst to verify all issues that may be occurring and finding a resolution. Verify any up and coming projects and communicate it accordingly to the appropriate staff.
