Management of an independent high complexity clinical laboratory licensed in the specialties of Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Diagnostic Immunology. Fulfilled the responsibilities of Administrative Director and the CLIA personnel categories of Technical Supervisor, and General Supervisor. Responsible for all areas of main laboratory operations including patient testing, document writing, personnel management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Assisted independent physician offices with laboratory licensing, needs assessment, and coordinated laboratory instrumentation delivery and installation. Managed customer relations with vendor sales, technical, support, and implementation specialists. Worked with referral laboratories to setup outsourcing services Assured quality laboratory services by focusing on continuous process improvement, assessing and redefining both scope of services rendered and personnel needs and responsibilities. Responsible for the selection and maintainance of all laboratory computer and instrumentation used for patient testing
