Daily Duties at Florida Agency For Healthcare Administration:
Conduct on-site inspections of clinical and medical laboratories to determine compliance with the technical and administrative requirements of the Florida Clinical Laboratories Law and the conditions of coverage under Medicare Law and the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act ( CLIA 88 ). Conduct follow-up visits to facilities to evaluate correction of deficiencies within mandated time frames. Conduct complaint investigations and unannounced appraisal-surveillance visits to determine compliance with federal and state regulations. Conduct on-site inspections of other facility types which include End Stage Renal Dialysis Centers and Home Medical Equipment businesses.
